We wish to express our profound gratitude to all those who contributed in diverse ways towards the initiative for vulnerable and marginalized women and girls with disability.
This was a timely intervention, wherein we were able to translate such contribution into valuable resources in providing physical and psychosocial intervention for adolescent girls at the Milton Maggai School for the Blind in a bid to address issues of stigma that surrounds menstrual hygiene and disability.
We also gave them the experience of having quality menstrual hygiene products (Dignity Package), which contains Sanitary Pads, Sanitary towels, soap, deodorants, shaving sticks and a gift-bag.
The most amazing achievement was the opportunity to interact and know them personally. We realized they are one the most loving, gentle, and brilliant people one can possibly encounter.
Thank you once again as what you gave was more than just financial support – you gave HOPE and DIGNITY to women and girls with disability.
